Teacher Expectations

  1. Earning your grade:
Your grade will be based on total points which you will earn from all classroom activities, assignments, problems, tests, quizzes, reports, extra credit, and class participation.
  1. Homework policy:
Homework will include worksheets and possible some small reports.
  1. Late work and/or make-up work (include your policy regarding make-up work if the student is suspended from school):
Student will be given every opportunity to make up work.  There will be a reduction in grade for late work (10% per week).  It is the student's responsibility to check on missed assignments, quizzes, tests, etc.  it is also the student's responsibility to reschedule make up assignments.
  1. Availability of extra help (when and where):
Appointments can be made with instructor for extra help.  Teacher will also be available daily from 2:45-3:00 p.m. in the classroom.

  1. Be an active participant.
  2. Have good attendance and punctuality.  (Class Participation)
  3. Be prepared to work.
  4. Have the necessary materials to work.
  5. Be positive and have a good attitude.
  6. Be responsible.  Demonstrate appropriate behavior.
  7. Clean up your work station and help keep room clean (class participation).
  8. Properly care for all materials and equipment.
  9. Treat others with respect.
  10. Be sensitive to each other in personal, ethnic, and cultural differences.
  11. Be truthful; be honest.  Cheating may result in failure and/or suspension.
  12. Adhere to all school policies.
  13. No gum, food, drink, or candy in computer room.
  14. Do not destroy computer buttons, plugs, mice, speed skins, etc.
  15. No makeup work will be given after 9 days of absences until proof of doctor/hospital slip or funeral, etc.
  16. Must have lock for locker.
