Dawaun Beard, British Coleman and Odessha York represented AHHS at the MSVMA State Solo & Ensemble yesterday at The Flint Institute of Music. They did a great job. They all received a score of 2 ( on a scale of 1-4, 1 being the top score).

Dawaun Beard and Odessha York also participated in the Tuesday Musicale Scholarship Competition last Sunday. Odessha York won 1st place and Dawaun Beard won runner-up.

Six students represented AHHS at Solo & Ensemble Festival at Central Michigan University this past Saturday. Each student sang 2 classical selections from a selected repertoire for a judge. Students sang in German, Italian, Latin and English. Judges rated the students on vocal technique, tone quality, pitch, rhythm and interpretation.
1=Excellent 2=Good 3=Fair 4=Poor
