After the Bell Rings This program operates from the time
school is out for the day until 6:30 p.m. The program allows parents to leave
their children at school until their work/school day is done. They have the
piece of mind that the children are taken care of in a safe environment. We
offer the children a snack, we encourage them to do any homework that they
may have gotten from the school day, offer board games, arts and crafts,
computer games with an educational connotation, games to refine fine motor
skill as well as large motor skills, gym time, outdoor activities, watch
videos, etc. We are licensed by the State of Michigan and follow their
requirements for safety, staffing and first aid. Parents pay a fee of $3 per
day, per child, for free or reduced lunch recipients or $5 per day, per
child, for students that pay full lunch. This program is offered beginning
the first day of school and operates through the last day of school. It is
also available during conferences. 2006-07
