Coaches should contact the school to let
them know about any change in their practice schedule, especially if it
involves a time change or cancellation.
Coaches are not to leave their players
unsupervised, whether it is in the gym or in the school before or after
practice or games. When practices are over, coaches are not to leave until all
players have been released to a parent, guardian, or other school program.
Elementary students may go to the After the Bell Rings Program only if they are enrolled in that
program. If a child is going to an after-school program, the coach should be
sure the supervisor of the program is there to accept the child.
Coaches
should not assume that school staff would supervise their players.
DO
NOT LEAVE A CHILD UNATTENDED!
Practices are not to begin until the Community Education Department has received
approval of the use of the facility as requested on the practice schedule.
I
understand the Practice Policy for the Youth Sports Program, and will abide by
it.
