Dear Parents, April 2008

Thank you so much for volunteering in our classroom, and coming to our parent meetings. You're doing an
awesome job helping the children with their homework. Keep up the great work. Here are some things to know about this month.

Parent Conferences: As usual we have an open door policy and we like to do Student led
Conferences so you can see your child's progress. So please come in at your convenience
anytime during conferences and bring your Pre-K student, if you can.
Parent Meeting: Wednesday, April 9 at 9:30 AM. It's our Parent Extravaganza. We will have SVSU here to perform a Readers Theatre and activities for parents in each classroom
immediately following.
Parent Expo: Please take advantage of the Expo being held at Central Middle School on
Thursday, April 24^th from 4:00-7:00 PM. Child care is provided, dinner, vendors and certificates will be presented. Fill out the flyer coming soon and take advantage of this great opportunity.
Home Visits: We are continuing our 2^nd Home Visits this month on Mondays. If we have not yet visited you, I will be sending a note telling you when we will be coming to discuss your child's progress. As always if your day and time are not convenient, please just let us know.
Graduation Caps & Gowns: The cost of $17.00 is now past due. I need to order them ASAP. If you have not yet paid, please do so as soon as you can.

April 2,3,4: Parent Conferences - ½ Days - NO PM CLASSES
Wed., May 21: Last Day of Pre-K
Thurs., May 22: 10:00 AM Graduation
