Webber Newsletters November 2005
Showcasing Our Success Good things are happening at our school, and we want to share some of them with you.
Student Council - Webber Middle School's Student Council is up and running! Their first fund raiser of selling candy canes was a success. Webber's student council is planning activities for the rest of the school year. If you have any ideas for student council, please submit them to your student council representative or see one of the advisors - Mrs. Friedle, Mrs. Oginsky or Mrs. Weber. Spelling Bee - The Saginaw County Spelling Bee will take place on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. Two students from Webber Middle School will participate: Clara Bryant, a sixth grader and Denesha Sangster, an eighth grader. National Junior Honor Society - The Raymond Kilrain Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society will host a number of outstanding activities during the 2007-2008 school year. The highly selective group held its induction of officers and members December 13, 2007. Parents, faculty and staff attended a dinner. Mayor Joyce Seals was the speaker. Throughout the year the Honor Society members will host its Annual Can Good Drive, visit elementary schools, attend Black History Programs, perform service projects and hold a Spring Induction. Congratulations students!
