Before The Bell Program
This program is designed to allow parents to bring their children to school as early as 7:00am. During this time, children are allowed time to finish up homework, play board games, watch a video or whatever they choose to do. The children are given breakfast and then they go to their respective classrooms for the start of the school day. The parents pay $1.00 per day per child for the program. This does not include the cost of breakfast. For an additional .75¢ (.30¢ free/reduced) your child may also get breakfast. This program operates from the first day of school until the last day of school. This program is not available for conferences or bank days. It is operating at all elementary school buildings that are able to maintain a minimum enrollment of ten students in the program. Sign up with Mrs. Wright in the cafeteria, before or after school.
After The Bell Program
This program operates from the time school is out for the day until 6:30pm. The program allows parents to leave their children at school until their work/school day is over. They have piece of mind that their children are taken care of, in a safe environment. We offer the children a snack, we encourage them to do any homework that they may have gotten from the school day, offer board games, arts and crafts, computer games with an educational connotation, games to enhance fine motor skills as well as large motor skills, gym time, outdoor activities, watch videos, etc. We are licensed by the State of Michigan and follow their requirements for safety, staffing and first aid. Parents pay a fee of $3.00 per day, per child for free or reduced lunch recipients or $5.00 per day, per child, for students that pay full lunch. This program begins the first day of school and operates through the last day of school. It is also available during conferences and bank days.
